How to play


Relationship with Laura


You can improve your relationship with Laura by talking to her, paying attention to her or doing things together. As your relationship improves, more intimate interactions become available.

Besides further improving the relationship, most interactions with Laura also improve your mood. Although some may consume your energy :).

As your relationship with her restores, it won't hurt to find yourself at your best physical condition so you can score some achievements.

Until you reach that point, there are a few things you need to remember:
  • take the trash out! At least two of three days! (unless your relationship with Laura is high enough)
    Otherwise she would be pretty mad you ignored such a trivial chore.
  • do not try to talk to her after you just worked-out or took the trash out.
    She will refuse to talk to you until you shower!
    Driving for long distances will also make you dirty. Remember to shower when you get home!


Running your business


You are controlling your business right from your living-room. As part of your agreement with Laura,  you cannot have any inventory at home, so you opened a website selling products you keep directly at courier' warehouses.
Calling suppliers to negotiating new buys may lead to interesting offers. Based on your negotiating skills, on your business relationship level (with that supplier) and on your turnover for that product, they will offer you good discount, especially if you buy large amounts of goods.

Feel free to refuse any offer where discounts seam too low!

Once you accept an offer, the goods are immediately delivered to your courier' warehouse and instantly become available on your online shop. You always get at least a very small discount from your suppliers and you are free to set your markups (up to 500%), according to your own price policy.
Low prices will yield more sales, but you will gain less per sale, while higher will yield less sales but at higher gain per sale.


Once you set your prices according to your strategy, the only thing remaining to do is to manage your subscribers.

As for many websites, your subscribers are your main way to reach more people and have more sales. Without them, your website will be forgotten.

There are two ways of managing subscribers:

  • one is marketing, which will increase the number of subscribers according to your Marketing Skill;
  • the other one is customer service, which will improve subscribers retention, according to your Customer Service Skill.
Also, you can automate both Marketing and Customer Service if your programming skills are good enough.

You can also sign automatic restock agreements with your suppliers and then they will keep a portion of your inventory in their own warehouses AND they will refill your inventory each time an item is sold. This effectively acts as some sort of supplier automation.

Sales are computed every night and you get your money directly in your bank account.

Side note: If things go south with your business, you can make some money, maybe even enough to pay the rent, by looking for small project on your old area of expertise (your job before you started your business).

Important note!
As part of your agreement with Laura, you can not work on your business during evenings.
You may read notes or set price, as these actions do not cost you time, but all other business-related actions will be disabled in the evening.


Actions, Time, Energy and Mood


Each day you wake up at 7:00 and can stay up until at 23:00. So each day you have 16 hours to act.

Most actions take 1 hour, few take 2 or 3 hours and some other few take no time at all. These ones are marked by a blue button, while the rest of the actions (those who take time) are marked with red buttons.

Besides requiring time, some actions also affect your energy level or your mood. Actions like eating, drinking coffee, sleeping or napping restore your energy, while working out, working and learning consume your energy.

In order to have more energy, you will need to have a good physical condition. So you may want to workout as much as possible in the early game, especially as energy restores each morning at a level dictated by your physical condition.

Note: Physical condition is a hidden statistic. You cannot see your current level, but you get notifications when it improves a level.

Like energy, mood is consumed for most work/learn activities, but unlike energy, it doesn't restore over night. Also, there is no way to increase your maximum mood level.
Anyway, most interactions with Laura improve your mood, while some actions like playing games or dancing convert energy into mood.

  1. Okay, so... real talk time.

    Just tried the game out, version 0.3. I'm going to give my criticism as requested, but first and foremost, I thought it was a sound concept. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it much, and here's why:

    1. The energy and mood system are waaaay too strict. Every action requires one or both of them, meaning that you can do at most two things before you then need to waste two hours lifting both stats again. Meaning that you spend half of every day just resetting your energy and mood counters. Which isn't fun. I would recommend raising the max limits before training for both, and raise the amount that eating and leisure activities grant you.

    2. Likewise, the business component is overly complicated as well. No doubt there's an interesting algorithm in the background governing the relationship between price and sales, but Jesus it's both bewildering and dull. I think you could cut out the price mechanic altogether and still have a good foundation to build on. Let stats govern things like sales, the cost of goods, and your customer figures.

    3. Related to the above, combine marketing and customer retention into one stat or action. They both affect the number of potential customers, so splitting them into two is more busy work.

    4. I liked that the skill counters told me how far I had to go when I hovered over them, but I'd prefer it if the information was on display without me needing to do that. Likewise, I would prefer being told how much studying a skill raised it. ie. "While marketing, you have raised your skill by 0.3".

    5. The showering mechanic is boring. It essentially just adds an hour to every "dirty" task. Why not make "dirtiness" a counter, which showering resets, instead of a binary?

    6. The girlfriend cockblocks so many activites just by being in the same room. I can't work while she's watching tv, can't shower when she's in the bathroom, or take out the trash if she's in the kitchen. In a game where your schedule is already really constrained, this just makes it more frustrating.

    7. Visiting the parents on a Sat should take, at most, half a day. The fact you have to shower afterwards just wastes the entire day, which, once again, isn't fun.

    8. Every day the relationship with your girlfriend degrades a little, which makes sense and I have no problem with. However, the amount seems random and there's no indicator as to how it's determined. Perhaps a list would be better? ie. "Relationship -10. Day-to-day degradation -4. Did not take out garbage -6."

    Apologies if it seemed like I was ragging on you. This project obviously has your passion behind it and I hope it succeeds. All of these criticisms come from a place of wanting it to be more fun. I will keep on playing it and I look forward to the future versions.

    1. Thank you very much for taking the time to write this detailed message and highlighting what needs to be improved in order to make this game more enjoyable. This is exactly the kind of feedback I am looking for!

      I'll have all these ideas in mind for the next releases. In fact some of them are already in my to-do list, but it take some time to implement everything I have in mind. For example, visiting her parents every weekend is just something I have to use until I'll have graphics/code for other weekend activities (at home or in other places).

      About the degradation of the relationship with Laura, there is no daily decay. Everything is motivated by her expectations and you can find what bothers her by using "talk about us" option. She will cycle through all the things that matters to her, but she will always start with what bothered/pleased her the most. These conversations are updated every morning in order to reflect her feelings about how you acted the previous day.

  2. I agree with the post above, mostly with point 1, 2, 3, and 6. Altering them would indeed make the game feel less like a chore and more enjoyable. The art style is really good. A quicksave and quickload functionality would be great to have.

    This game has a lot of potential and I'm liking where its heading, keep up the good work!

    Also what program do you use to render the scenes and models/characters? I've been playing around with blender and would like to try out other programs :)

    1. Thank you very much for your feedback and encouragements and for strengthening the highlights on what will make this game more enjoyable.

      Regarding rendering, I prefer Daz, but the quality is greater influenced by the rendering engine and there are some great (and free) physics-based rendering engines that work for Blender, such as Luxray and Yafaray. V-ray is also great, but it's a bit expensive for me.

      PS1: The game already quicksaves/quickloads. Just use F5 to quicksave and F6 to quickload. These keys and a few others are listed in the More->Help menu.

  3. Hey there, i played a prior version of this and now im playing 0.3
    First of i already played quite a bit so the game cant be to bad at least for me. I enjoy eroctic games and i really like if they are this managing style, but there are a few problems:
    Way to much feels like a chore in way to many aspects. Erotic games should be very laid back and the focus should be achieving erotic scenes and then achieving better and better erotic scenes. In this game most of it is managing your very unintersting business and the relationship but most of the relationship managing is very repetetive for the most part and very slow to progress.
    A few things i think should be changed:
    -Training should be a lot faster and i mean in every aspect it shouldnt take you whole days to level 1 ability that bairly does anything and absolutly doesnt achieve anything erotic for the player
    -It should be more transparent why your girlfriend is mad at you when you lose points on the next day this mechanic is just anoying at the moment often times you spend the whole day catering to her and still lose points. You should introduce a mechanic where she either tells you at the start of the day why she is unhappy or maybe the player can check her diary(random idea) or something along the lines
    -the focus of this game shouldnt be managing the shop it should be having fun with your girlfriend and maybe in the future with libary girl and yoga girl that would be a good erotic game. The shop managing is way to boring to take so much of your time

  4. I am playing the game now and then, but each time when you have a new version, I have to start playing all over again. I copy my savegames from an earlier version, but they are not being accepted in the game.

    I can see them, but they do not load, and give an error message when loading. So it would be great to have a possibility to use earlier saved games...

    1. Hi, Thank you for your comment. I am working on a solution but I haven't found a good one yet. The internals of the game are still changing too much (as it is still early in development). I'll come up with a solution soon, but until then, you can use advanced start, which compensates a little bit.

  5. Hi, Grabio. I just played your game yesterday and I would like to point, as everyone here already has, that some actions felt like a chores. Also, it would be nice some way to check out the photo and images collected in some sort of album, i guess (idk, could be a cell pics gallery). And also, it would be nice a indicator of Hannah's relationship. And i would be very pleased if you can fuck her in some later version of the game.

    1. Hi, thank you very much for your comments. The pieces are part of an idea to bring a puzzle game in AVSB. This won't be ready in v0.3.2 but you will be able to play a special mini-game tomorrow (it is already available for my patreons since yesterday). An indicator for relationship levels with all the girls is also on my to-do list. I'll try to include it in v0.3.2, but no promises. Sex with Hannah will definitely be in AVSB v0.3.2 :).

      Re: chores. I intent to re-write that mechanic, but I need to find a good solution first, so I think it will only change in v0.3.3.
